Ventilation Glands in Polyamide
Ventilation Glands combine the advantages of cable glands with that of ventilation plugs. That is while allowing for true strain relief like cable glands these also act as pressure equalizing devices like ventilation plugs. The same is achieved with the help of a membrane inside the ventilation plug, which allows for gases (air) to pass through it while blocking liquids and particulate solids (dust). These glands offer higher strain and torsion relief at lower cap nut tightening torque and have lower heights than standard cable glands. They are manufactured according to requirement of DIN EN 62444 / 50262.
